Casio Privia PX-320 Keyboard Review

Number of keys: 88 Blue checkmark
Weighted keys: Yes! Blue checkmark
Sustain Pedal Option: Yes! Blue checkmark

The Casio PX-320 Privia Digital Piano is the perfect keyboard for the serious beginning student. It's got 88 keys, weighted keys (which means when you transition to a real piano it won't throw you off, unlike the non-weighted keys of a cheap toy keyboard), and the option for a sustain pedal.

What about a keyboard stand?

The only thing it doesn't come with is a stand. You could buy an X-stand like the Yamaha PKBS1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Stand.

But the Casio CS-65 Privia Keyboard Stand for Casio PX-110, PX-120, PX-310 and PX-320 keyboards is better suited for full size 88 key piano keyboards like the Privia. I have a similar stand for my Privia keyboard and it's much more stable than one of those X-stands (and I have an X-stand too). The extra stability also makes it more fun to play!

Plus if you have little kids or dogs, they can always knock the keyboard off an X-stand, but because you have to screw the keyboard into the Casio CS-65 stand, it's much harder to knock over.

Does it come with a pedal?

The Casio PX-320 Privia keyboard comes with Casio's SP-3 pedal by default, which emulates the sustain pedal on a piano. Of course if you want to emulate all 3 piano pedal sounds with your keyboard, you can buy the Casio SP30 Pedal Board for CS65 Stand.
